We were delighted to receive a framed endorsement from Mayor Larry Di Ianni, and Tony Valeri, MP for Stoney Creek.

The Ontario Association for Students At Risk Correctional Educators Commitee Presents Sticks&Stones...the dynamics of bullying. November 19, 2004 at the Hamilton Board of Education.

Our presentation for the Correctional Educators Commitee was very well received. This version of Sticks&Stones focused on "female relational bullying," also known as "girls bullying girls." We also included our new "anti-bullying teaching songs" from our new CD "THEY" "Lone Wolf," "Hate Algebra," "No Matter What," and the title song from the CD "THEY." We received excellent feedback and comments on both the presentation and the new songs! We would like to especially thank our sponsors, and Jo-Ann Carruthers, Coordinator. Let's do it again, next year!

Great to see and meet so many friends, new and old, in the audience.

Special thanks to our sponsors for their support of our new production of  "Sticks&Stones...the dynamics of bullying. We are grateful to Pongetti's Musical Instruments, Office Art Supply and Long & McQuade Musical Instruments. We couldn't do it without YOU!

What's With Our New Production

A recent letter from the Ontario Association for Students At Risk:

Professional Developement Day, November 19, 2006 at the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board

Dear Fred and Ruth,

On behalf of the Ontario Association for Students At Risk and the educators present at our conference in Hamilton on November 19th, I would like to thank you very much for the message. Sticks and stones do hurt and should not have to be tolerated by anyone. Your personal story and songs showed us just how harmful peoples actions and words can be. You made us all responsible for stopping bullying. Thank you!

JoAnn Carrothers
